Mango-arugula Smoothie For Hot Or Cold Day

How tuned into our needs are we when we eat? Do we listen to the needs of our bodies and souls? Or do we mostly listen to the voices outside that tell about the only one "perfect" way of what, when and how to eat? I think both sides are important. If we follow only our inner cravings, they may lead us into unhealthy life. If we only follow some advice from others (keto, vegan, paleo...), we may do good things that are not right for our health. Therefore, it is important for women to learn to listen to their "weather" inside (what she feels and thinks when she is about to put something in her mouth) and pay attention to the "weather" outside (people around, time of the day, what is ahead to do, temperature, humidity).

This smoothie with ginger can make you warm in cold weather and cool in hot weather (if you use cold green tea with some ice).

1 mango

2 cups of greens (arugula)

1/2 of avocado

3 Tbsp of flax seeds

1/2 cucumber, 1/2 of peeled lemon, 1 cup of brewed green tea (chilled), A slice of ginger and strawberries for toppings.

Blend everything except ginger and strawberries, pour into glasses (for 2 people), garnish with chopped strawberries and ginger!
