Salmon Tamales

Do you like tamales? They taste good but they may have non-healthy ingredients, including non-organic corn, bad fats and Now you can make something healthier. Look for a bag of corn husks in your grocery store. It is usually a cheap item. The best would be to get husks from organic corn but life is not always perfect.

You can prepare anything on the husk using it instead of parchment paper or foil. Wrap wild-caught salmon fillets (or chicken) with salt and lemon in soaked corn husks, bake for 30 min at 350 F and serve with a salad or warm sauteed veggies (cabbage, broccoli, onion, carrots, avocado oil).
